More Than This

Preface

“Come on let’s go.”

“You’re not going to need that anymore.”

From the outside it looked like nothing. They manipulated so that no one heard the call, the message snuffed out with barely a ripple in the lake that they painted on the canvas of the nation.

But they don’t know who they’re listening to—the beast that whispers lies into the minds of even the very elect. They shut down our churches and slander our names across the media. Friends and family have turned their backs but we endure it all. There were those who couldn’t handle the strain and I don’t blame them. This is the hardest thing that I will ever have to do. My friends and family have been caught in the elaborate lies and snares that have been set. Because the Beast is in the sickness and wars; in the minds of the most powerful leaders and in the whispered lies of a friend.

But we have been promised shelter, a new home, and victory over the deceiver. Even so, for now? We’re running.
